The CEO of Manningham Housing Association (MHA), based in Bradford, has urged the government to “bring real urgency” to its housebuilding initiatives in 2025 if it hopes to achieve its goal of constructing 1.5 million new homes by the end of this Parliament.
In a New Year message, Lee Bloomfield highlighted MHA’s “remarkable achievements” over the past year, describing them as “a reflection of our dedication to serving the community, enhancing services, and creating an inclusive and supportive environment.”
Among the key accomplishments were MHA becoming the world’s first housing association to receive ISO 30415 accreditation for HR, diversity, and inclusion, the launch of a more accessible and user-friendly website as part of its digital transformation strategy, and the successful upgrade of properties with support from the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund.
